At Fuerte Hoteles, our priority is the preservation and restoration of the
natural spaces surrounding our establishments.
This is why we have formed an alliance with Ecoherencia to restore
valuable and biodiverse ecosystems in the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park.
Our efforts include removing specimens of the invasive species
Carpobrotus edulis and reducing the waste present to improve the dune
ecosystem.
Additionally, a volunteer day will be organized to encourage public
awareness and conservation efforts.
The value of our natural environment is immeasurable, and at Fuerte
Hoteles, we are committed to protecting it.
At Fuerte Hotels, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility framework, we are committed to ensuring energy efficiency in all our hotels. To do so, we’ve implemented numerous measures to reduce harmful CO2 emissions.
This includes the use of LED lights, automatic air conditioning disconnection systems, renewable energies, use of circular economy and recycling measures, use of local food products, and the exhaustive monitoring of energy consumption and our carbon footprint – all to help preserve our invaluable environment.
All these initiatives, and many more, form part of our Clean Seas project. As part of it, we have been working on numerous programmes for more than 2 years to help preserve our environment, reduce our carbon footprint, and promote the circular economy.
The Fuerte Foundation, on behalf of its hotel brands, including Fuerte Hoteles, carries out outstanding social and cultural work with a variety of bodies and associations to fight to put an end to all forms of poverty.
At Fuerte Hoteles, we work to improve the ratio of local and seasonal products used and purchased every year, with the aim of ending hunger, providing food security, improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture.
We have various systems in place to reduce water consumption as much as possible, minimise water wastage and reuse it in garden areas, and more similar activity.

Since Fuerte Hoteles was founded in 1957, the Fuerte Foundation has been responsible for supporting the brand in the implementation of initiatives that foster the social and cultural development of its guests, staff and areas in which the hotels are located.
The body is currently led by the President and Members of the Board of Directors of Fuerte Group Hotels and has been working for more than 60 years under its slogan We look after both people and the environment.
